EE SEALED

EE Sealed spherical roller bearings, greased for life with elastomer seals to prevent ingress and contamination if bearings are used in hostile environments. These compact solutions offer a constant hermetic seal even when there is bending of the shaft (up to 0.5° maximum). Part of the ULTAGE® range, their capabilities are identical to those of open bearings.

SOLID LUBRICANT

For highly specific operating constraints where traditional brands of grease quickly show their limitations (low-amplitude oscillations, high centrifugal forces, washing out, pollution, difficult access, etc.), NTN-SNR has developed a solid lubrication concept suited to spherical roller bearings.

​

Solid lubrication protects against contamination, as no debris can not easily enter the bearing. The grease does not easily leak from the bearing, even when the bearing is subjected to strong vibrations or centrifugal force, helping to extend bearing life. Eliminating grease leakage from the bearing ensures a consistent supply of lubricant and prevents contamination of the surrounding environment.

PLUMMER BLOCKS

A range of plummer blocks and split units designed for easy mounting and dimounting, they are suited to heavy loads and high rotation speeds.

Used with high-capacity spherical roller bearings, they are manufactured in high-strength cast iron, spheroidal graphite cast iron or cast steel. These units have either oil or grease lubrication, and the housings have a re-lubrication facility.

INSERTS

Inserts are designed with a spherical outer diameter allowing for misalignment and help facilitate easy installation into the housings. Also, to meet application requirements, inserts offer a wide range of sealing, shields, and locking combinations.

Replacing inserts in the housing units is easy & can be 30 to 40% more cost-effective than replacing the complete unit.
