Deep groove, or single row radial, ball bearings are the most widely used bearings in all general industries. 
 
NTN radial ball bearings typically come with pressed steel cages, but also offer machined brass or molded nylon material. NTN also offers bearings with locating snap rings on the outside diameter. 
 
SNR ball bearings offer open bearings, double contact seals or shielded bearings.







 

Single or double row angular contact ball bearings feature raceways with high and low shoulders. These opposing raceways are designed to carry thrust load in one direction.

NTN can preload the bearings at the factory so that the correct load will develop once the bearing is put into service. The bearings in this series are assembled with a specific internal clearance, so that they will have a specified contact angle under load.

The standard contact angle used by NTN is 30° but, in many cases, a 40° contact angle can also be specified. Also available are special high-speed bearings with phenolic resin cages and a 15° contact angle.

NTN thrust ball bearings are developed to take high axial loads and shaft rotations.
 
Available in series 511xx, 512xx, 513xx and 514xx.












 

The SNR double-row self-aligning ball bearings are useful for applications requiring high rotating speeds while exercising moderate radial, and moderate or low axial loading. They are able to accommodate misalignment, whilst offering superb high-speed performance.

As these ball bearings generate less friction they are able to run cooler even at high speeds.

This cool running means minimum maintenance is required leading to longer bearing life and maintenance intervals. SNR self-aligning ball bearings can reduce noise and vibration levels.

Available in:
Series 1200, 1300, 2200 and 2300 from 10mm to 110mm bore. Series 11200 and 11300 come with an extended inner ring for easier shaft fitting.

The TOPLINE range of deep groove ball bearings from NTN-SNR has been developed exclusively to meet the high operating speeds or extreme temperature requirements of specific applications.

Available in series: 
HVZZ - can withstand extreme speeds up to 900,000 N.Dm

LT / LTZZ - ideal for refrigeration conditions this DGBB can resist temperatures as low as -60°C.

HT200 - with a special internal clearance and pre-lubricated & sealed these bearings can withstand temperatures up to 200°C, making them suitable for the food industry - ovens, dryers, etc.

MEGAOHM™ bearings, a series of insulated ball bearings specifically designed to prevent electrical arcing in a variety of applications. With either a ceramic or resin coating, the bearing’s outer ring provides an insulating barrier against any stray currents that would pass through it. Prevents pitting and fluting and is a cost effective solution to combat stray electric currents.

7MC3 Series ceramic insulated bearings & 7MP Series resin insulated bearings, are designed to resist electric current damage and offer protection to costly equipment which is why they are used by OEMs for wind turbine generators, traction motors, paper and textile rolls, VFD and other electric motors used across many industrial applications.

Solid lube stainless steel bearings are part of the SENTINEL series. They offer exceptional protection for processing industries, especially food and beverage, as they resist corrosion and have reinforced nitrile seals to prevent lubricant seepage.

Manufactured in 440C stainless steel, prefilled solid (NSF H1) lubricant, and with reinforced elastomer seals (LL) means they offer significant savings. Reducing the number of bearings consumed & requiring fewer maintenance interventions.

Solid Lube provides "greased for life" bearings, and contains 3-4 times more oil than standard grease.

Available in 6000 to 6200 series, shaft diameters from 10mm to 40mm. Operating temperature from -10°C to +100°C.

Inserts are designed with a spherical outer diameter allowing for misalignment and help facilitate easy installation into the housings. Also, to meet application requirements, inserts offer a wide range of sealing, shields, and locking combinations.

Replacing inserts in the housing units is easy & can be 30 to 40% more cost-effective than replacing the complete unit.
